Selection criteria

Please note the following criteria:

Demonstrated capacity to deliver a mural.
A folio of artwork examples similar to the proposed mural.
Provision of a brief description of the mural plan, including materials (eg. Spray paint).
Inclusion of a brief written or sketched concept for the mural that links with the theme of ‘Musical Warrnambool’.

Mural Concept

Please describe your concept and supply examples of similar work you have done previously, so as to give the assessing panel a clear idea of what the mural design will be. Sketches are not required at this stage, but you may use a sketch in place of a written description.

Budget

A budget of $15,000 is available for the project, inclusive of materials, travel expenses and artist fees.

Please provide a brief budget breakdown for expenses related to the delivery of the mural, including materials (surface preparation, paint and graffiti-proof coat), design, project management and implementation. The total wall space available is approximately 80 square metres.

*Please note that this project is being funded by the Department of Transport and Planning and managed by V/Line. The artist agreement will be between the Artist and V/Line. Artists will be expected to provide an invoice for payment following completion of the project. This may take several weeks to process.

Support Material

Attach support material such as photographs, digital images of previous and/or recent murals, as well as any concepts for this mural. Support material should be clearly marked with the artist’s name and title of the artwork. Please also attached an artist’s CV.
